Product Description of BARIUM SILICATECAS CAS#13255-26-0
Barium silicate is industrial grade with purity ≥99%, presenting as white odorless crystalline powder. It melts at 1604℃ and decomposes at high temperature without boiling, with negligible vapor pressure at 25℃ and relative density of 4.35 (20℃). It is water-insoluble, slightly soluble in hydrofluoric acid, and insoluble in hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. Chemically stable under conventional conditions, it shall be stored away from hydrofluoric acid and other strong acids for incompatibility.
Product Application of BARIUM SILICATECAS CAS#13255-26-0
Barium silicate can be fabricated into thin films serving as transmission media for integrated optical circuits. Tuning the component ratio enables the films to obtain a broad refractive index range with low optical loss, perfectly suited for integrated optical circuit use. It also finds extensive application in the ceramics industry.
