Product Description of Doxycycline hydrochloride CAS#10592-13-9
Doxycycline hydrochloride is hygroscopic crystalline powder, soluble in water and methanol. It has a broad antibacterial spectrum with potency ten times that of tetracycline and works against tetracycline-resistant strains. It is widely used for respiratory, urinary tract infections, typhoid fever and mycoplasma pneumonia.

It shares a similar antibacterial spectrum with tetracycline and oxytetracycline yet delivers stronger activity, with obvious cross drug resistance among them. It achieves good oral absorption. It treats various bacterial infections, and is also applicable for typhus, mycoplasma pneumonia, cholera as well as malaria and leptospirosis prevention.
